We engaged Jo to help us create a landscape design for our 1/4 acre property. We weren't 100% sure what we wanted, but we had a fair idea of what we liked. Jo was fantastic at guiding us through the different options available, and to narrowing it down to a final product. Jo has a real passion for gardens with a natural talent for design whether it be a small difficult area or a larger one. Much appreciated was the time given to me by Jo during the planning for my garden. This was shown to me by the way she drew and coloured an accurate to scale plan of the space involved and was able to provide pictures of plants and shrubs that we both thought would suit the garden. The design phase was presented both clearly and concisely, so I was able to imagine the finished garden with written information on the particular plants and how to care for them.
Jo divided the garden into areas with appropriate costings for each. Jo worked hard and enthusiastically. In addition, I found her to be both reliable and consistent, always being here when she said she would, a little unusual these days.
I would recommend Jo to anyone intending to create a new garden or refreshing an older one.

Jo Hosking designed a fantastic garden for us from a complete blank canvass on our new build. She listened carefully and drew up plans that were both practical and beautiful for the type of garden we had in mind. She incorporated our wants and needs as well as some innovative and clever ideas that we would never have thought of ourselves. It has been such a pleasure to work with Jo on the design of our garden, she organised the contractors, plants and planting. Her eye for detail and ability to turn any space in your garden to something special and not only colourful but easy care is amazing. She is a very friendly and professional person and we would recommend her to anyone who wants to have a well planned garden full of life.

I just wanted to let you know that your consultation and resulting garden plan has been the single best investment we have made as part of our major house and garden extension/renovation! Your consultation was so thorough (and painless, you even got my hubby on board!) and you managed to capture everything I had in mind and put it together beautifully.
We have referred to your plans literally hundreds of times during the build process and continue to do so almost daily now that we are finally getting onto the landscaping. Even though the landscape part of our project is going slowly, having such detailed plans means that we can chip away at different parts of the project when we get time and weather conditions allow it, always knowing what we are aiming for and confident that what we are doing will work for the final result in the future.
