I just wanted to let you know that your consultation and resulting garden plan has been the single best investment we have made as part of our major house and garden extension/renovation! Your consultation was so thorough (and painless, you even got my hubby on board!) and you managed to capture everything I had in mind and put it together beautifully.
We have referred to your plans literally hundreds of times during the build process and continue to do so almost daily now that we are finally getting onto the landscaping. Even though the landscape part of our project is going slowly, having such detailed plans means that we can chip away at different parts of the project when we get time and weather conditions allow it, always knowing what we are aiming for and confident that what we are doing will work for the final result in the future.

We engaged Jo to help us create a landscape design for our 1/4 acre property. We weren't 100% sure what we wanted, but we had a fair idea of what we liked. Jo was fantastic at guiding us through the different options available, and to narrowing it down to a final product. She showed a very deep and broad knowledge about basically everything we wanted to know about, and helped us to appreciate and understand the space we had available much better. Jo's designs were very well laid-out and we're really stoked with the finished product and can't wait to get started on it!
She was always super friendly and helpful, and we know that our job was a bit more complex than expected, but she was happy to stick with the quoted price, which we were very impressed with! Jo has a real passion for gardens with a natural talent for design whether it be a small difficult area or a larger one. Much appreciated was the time given to me by Jo during the planning for my garden. This was shown to me by the way she drew and coloured an accurate to scale plan of the space involved and was able to provide pictures of plants and shrubs that we both thought would suit the garden. The design phase was presented both clearly and concisely, so I was able to imagine the finished garden with written information on the particular plants and how to care for them.
Jo divided the garden into areas with appropriate costings for each. Jo worked hard and enthusiastically. In addition, I found her to be both reliable and consistent, always being here when she said she would, a little unusual these days.
I would recommend Jo to anyone intending to create a new garden or refreshing an older one.

We have almost done phase one, and are going to start construction on the shed soon so will be able to get into the next phase once that is done. I’ve attached a few photos I’ve taken as we have been putting bits in.

From the initial consult and draft designs, through to the 3D walk-through online and final plan, Jo from Indetail was nothing but professional, approachable, practical and knowledgeable. She really listened to what we were hoping to achieve, how we wanted to use the space and the stage of life we were in. Jo from indetail created a fantastic garden design plan for our new build in tamahere, Hamilton. The plan was worth every cent. It was easy to follow and inspiring. In particular, her pool design was brilliant with all the little details, creating a pool area that's not only beautiful but so practical.
